Single plots in South Cambridgeshire villages rise as demand increases
Redevelopment opportunities in South Cambridgeshire attract high levels of interest
Individuals looking for small plots of land in villages around Cambridge have been almost starved of supply this year.
This has resulted in purchasers paying very high prices for small building plots.
Two examples are small sites
that Redmayne Arnold & Harris have been selling this Autumn in Girton and Coton. "Neither of these sites were
straightforward, but we were overwhelmed by the level of interest" says Nick Harris. "We predict that purchasers
are paying well in excess of 40% of the gross development value of the completed houses and this would rule out all
house builders from buying this type of building opportunity".
